Images of each character

I have dedicated these pages to the Star Trek: Voyager Series

Each episode has its own page. Eventually you will find images of each character from the episode and a short biography of most characters with speaking parts.

The Episodes page lists all episodes with the original air date, mission stardate and production number;with links to each episode. HoloPrograms describes the various Holographic programs which constitute the crew's entertainment. HoloPics contains pictures of a few of the characters created by the holodeck.

Most characters have a short biography on the episode page; but some characters appeared in more than one episode so instead of including bios of these characters on the episode pages; there is a link to a special page for each.

There are special pages dedicated to each of the main characters. Their links are below.

The voyages of the Starship U.S.S. Voyager. (setting -- the 24th century)

The fourth STAR TREK series, which hit U.S. airwaves on January 16, 1995, is the first to feature a female Captain -- Kathryn Janeway. Set aboard the starship U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, the ship and crew are marooned over 70,000 light years from Federation space and struggling to find a way home. The U.S.S. Voyager was carried beyond the explored limits of space while in pursuit of a rebel Maquis vessel, and out of necessity, the two marooned ships combined into a mismatched crew of Starfleet officers and Maquis rebels.

The main crew members of the U.S.S. Voyager are: Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), Vulcan Starfleet Tactical/Security Officer Tuvok (Tim Russ), a Holographic Doctor (Robert Picardo) and the former rebel leader as Janeway's First Officer Chakotay (Robert Beltran). A native of this region of space takes on the roles of Guide/Cook/Handyman, Neelix (Ethan Phillips), with his Ocampa companion Kes (Jennifer Lien) alongside. A half Klingon ex-rebel serves as Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres (Roxann Dawson), and a recent Academy graduate is Ops/Communications Officer Harry Kim (Garrett Wang). The ship's pilot is field-commissioned Lieutenant Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill). A borg drone separated from the collective also joined the crew and her name is Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan).

Voyager

On January 16, 1995 the first episode was aired and then we knew that Star Trek could not die. And Voyager was good right from the start, now we not only have women officers, but the captain is a women. We kind of worried about that but Kathryn Janeway turned out to be a great captain. Not as stoic as Picard or Sisko, but much more serious than the revered Kirk. But Star Trek, in all it's incarnations, has always encompassed both the good and the bad.

We learned to love poor old Mudd and Khan came back in a movie. Then Worf moved with Star Trek and we knew! The phenomenon will continue. Voyager finally got home and we all sighed with relief. We were all certain that they would. We could not leave them in the Delta Quadrant and go on. Without too much lost time there was a new Star Trek series announced. First Contact and Insurrection were great but what about the next, and the next?
