Images of each character

I have dedicated these pages to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Series

Each episode has its own page. Eventually you will find images of each character from the episode and a short biography of most characters with speaking parts.

Home   TOS   TAS   TNG   DS9   VOY   ENT   MOV
Episodes   Main Characters   Mirror   Dax Hosts

The Episodes page lists all episodes with the original air date, mission stardate and production number. First, through Seventh have short synopses of each episode for that season with links to each episode. Mirror has bios of each of the characters who were paralleled in the mirror universe. Dax Hosts has bios of each of the Trills who have hosted the Dax Symbiont.

Most characters have a short biography on the episode page; but some characters appeared in more than one episode or series so instead of including bios of these characters on the episode pages; there is a link to a special page for each. Deep Space Nine is destinguished by a great many returning characters.

In the third STAR TREK television series, first made for U.S. syndication in 1992 and still in syndication today, the action moved from a starship to a space station. The Series debuted on January 4, 1993.

On June 2, 1999, the series completed its seventh and final season. As always continuing the tradition of state-of-the-art effects and a top rated cast and crew.

Deep Space Nine is commanded by Captain Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks), alongside Science Officer Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell), Medical Officer Dr. Julian Bashir (Siddig El Fadil, aka Alexander Siddig), Security Officer Odo (Rene Auberjonois), Chief Operations Officer Miles O'Brien (Colm Meaney) formerly of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, Bajoran First Officer Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor), and the Ferengi bartender Quark (Armin Shimerman).

Also along for the ride is the Captain's son, aspiring writer Jake Sisko (Cirroc Lofton). In the fourth season the crew was joined by a Star Trek: The Next Generation veteran, the Klingon Lieutenant Commander Worf (Michael Dorn). In the last season Judzia Dax is killed and the Dax symbiont is moved to Ensign Ezri Dax (Nicole deBoer). She shows up at Sisko's just as Ben, Jake and Ben's father, Joseph Sisko, take off to investigate Ben's contact with the Prophets.

DS9 started on January 4, 1993. It was okay for a while and then they went to war. I always hated that aspect of the show but after a while, I became attached to the characters anyway. And by the fourth season they were great too and now we had Worf back. And the episodes got better and better, too. By the time Worf and Judzia got married we knew that the following season would be the last. But we didn't worry about it, by then Voyager had begun and Generations, another movie, had been released.
