Amanda Greyson; Human wife to Ambassador Sarek and mother of Commander Spock. Amanda came aboard the Enterprise in 22678 with her husband Sarek, who was attending the Babel Conference "Journey to Babel" Amanda helped Spock reeducate himself following his fal-tor-pan refusion in 2285. She tried especially to help her son rediscover the human portion of his personallity Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (MOV).

Amanda Grayson is Spock's Mother and wife to Ambassador Serek. Amanda appeared in only one episode of the Animated series. "Yesteryear" (TAS). established Spock's mother's maiden name as Grayson. Her maiden name was given in an early draft of the script of "Journey to Babel" by this episode's writer D. C. Fontana.
